Growth Through More Understanding, Not More Judgement

One-on-one coaching to help you understand your patterns, explore what matters, and find your own way forward.

You Don’t Have to Have It Figured Out

Sometimes you just need a place to sort things out.

Maybe something feels stuck, complicated, repetitive, or harder to make sense of than you expected. It could be a relationship, a decision, a change in your life, a pattern you keep noticing, or simply a question about yourself that keeps coming back.

You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. We can start with what’s on your mind, talk it through, and see what begins to become more clear.

Growing Sessions are a place to slow things down, get curious about what’s happening, and explore what might be worth understanding more deeply.

What Is A Growing Session?

Growing Self Sessions are one-on-one conversations centered on what is happening in your life right now.

We might talk about a relationship, a decision, a pattern you keep noticing, a change you are trying to make sense of, or something you simply want to understand better. I’ll ask questions, share what I’m noticing, and help us look at the situation from different angles.

The goal is not to rush toward an answer or turn your life into a problem to solve. It is to create enough space to understand what is happening, what may be shaping it, and what feels important to you moving forward.

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another. You can get a feel for how I work, and we can decide together whether continuing the conversation feels useful.

What It’s Like To Work With Me

My style is conversational, curious, and direct. I’ll ask questions, tell you what I’m noticing, and help you slow things down enough to look at them from a different angle.

I’m not interested in giving you a formula for how your life should look. I’m more interested in understanding how you make sense of things, what matters to you, and what may be shaping the way you respond.

You don’t have to perform, have the right answer, or know exactly where the conversation is going. Part of the work is figuring that out together.

There’s More Than One Way to Grow

Growth doesn’t always mean pushing harder, fixing what feels wrong, or making a big change. Sometimes it means becoming curious about something you’ve avoided. Sometimes it means staying present instead of distracting yourself, saying what has been difficult to express, taking one small step when you feel stuck, seeing an old experience in a new way, or choosing more intentionally where to place your energy.

The kind of growth that helps depends on what is happening in your life. There is no single direction you are supposed to move in and no one version of who you are supposed to become.

About Me

I’ve spent much of my career sitting with people while they try to make sense of difficult, complicated, and important parts of their lives.

My background includes psychology, mental health counseling, and years of working directly with people in a wide range of situations. Over time, I became especially interested in the way we create meaning, develop patterns, form identities, and sometimes struggle to understand reactions that make perfect sense once we see the larger picture.

That curiosity eventually became the Growing Self.

Today, I use that experience and the Growing Self framework to create one-on-one conversations that are thoughtful, honest, and grounded in the person sitting across from me.

Go Deeper With The Growing Self

The Growing Self is the larger framework behind the ideas explored throughout Growing With Chad. It offers a way to understand how experience, meaning, identity, relationships, and choice interact within your inner world.

You can explore the book in more depth on its dedicated page, or download a free PDF copy and begin reading whenever you’re ready.
